NAWOJ Gets New Exco
The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Rivers State chapter, has elected a new executive council to pilot its affairs for the next three years
Those elected were Ms Enale Kodu- Chairman, Mrs Calista Ezeaku, Vice chairman and Mrs Lilian Okonkwo, Secretary. Others are Joy Grant-Amadi,Treasurer and Ijeoma Tubosia, Financial Secretary.
Inaugurating the new exco, the national vice chairman (Zone F) of the association, Mrs Mary Asuquo, charged them to always work in unity and cultivate mutual understanding.
Also speaking, Chairman of the state Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Mr Opaka Dokubo while congratulating the new executive members charged them to be courageous, dogged and never allow anybody to distract them.
