The FCT administration also denied that no anti-graft agency, Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission (ICPC)has commended probe on the alleged fraud, saying that no official of the ICPC has been at the FCT Administration for the purposes of investigating the alleged fraud.
A statement issued by the FCT administration and signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the FCT Minister, Muhammad Hazat Sule said,” the Administration wishes to express that the media report of the alleged scam in the Accounts Department came as a rude shock because all the dealings and transactions at the Department are carried out in accordance with the modern accounting practice.
