Monarch Identifies Source Of Amaechi’s Election Victory
The traditional ruler of Oborikom community, His Royal Highness, Eze Christian Uzor Nkissa, (Ochi Ohna II) has attributed Governor Chibuike Amaechi’s re-election to the rapid development of the education and health sectors of the state during his first term in office.
Eze Nkissa, who stated this while speaking with journalists at his palace in Obrikom in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area at the weekend, remarked that the Governor had by his people-oriented projects endeared himself to the people of the state.
He listed the building of standard primary schools, health centres, good roads among others as testimonials of Governor Amaechi’s first tenure.
Eze Nkissa noted that these people-oriented projects had given the people a sense of belonging. Accoidng to him, “we thank God for giving us a man whose life expanded in proportion to his courage and services to humanity that is inspired by passion and fear of God.
He, however, implored Governor Amaechi to employ the needed manpower for both the primary schools and health centres to justify the resources spent on them.
The traditional ruler also expressed happiness with what president Goodluck Jonathan was doing at the federal level, and traced his victory to his probity.
Also speaking, Chief Loveday Onita, Eze Ngah I of Obrikom hailed the incumbent administration as people-oriented.
The traditional ruler, who is also the public relations officer of the community described Governor Amaechi as a leader with a vision and urged him to sustain the tempo.
