Delta Governor Links Growth To Peace
Delta State Governor, Dr. Emmanuel uduaghan has attributed the fast developmental pace in Delta North to the enabling environment provided by the people of the area.
Governor Uduaghan who stated this recently when the Executive Council members of Izu Anioma Social-Cultural group paid him a courtesy visit in Asaba assured the people of Anioma of his administration’s commitment in developing all areas of the state.
He explained that the people of Anioma would continue to get its fair share from the state government with their continued support and peaceful disposition in the state.
His words: “The Anioma people have created an enabling environment for development to strive in the state because of their co-operation and peaceful disposition, I have been encourage to do more by this act.”
The governor accepted to attend a grand reception to be organised in his honour in April by the group to appreciate him for his laudable contributions to the state.
He commended the group for the stablising role it played when the polity was heated up in the past and announced that land has been provided for Obasanjo
