No Other Party Can Challenge PDP In Rivers -Woke
As Nigerians look forward to the February and March elections this year, it has been observed that no other party has what it takes to contest for offices with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in the 23 local government areas of Rivers State.
This observation was made by the Chief of Staff, Government House, Port Harcourt, Engr. Emeka Woke, while speaking on the sidelines of the PDP’s campaign rally at Rumuji in the Emohua Local Government Area of the state, adding that “the people of Emohua LGA are very prepared to win all her elections”.
Woke further said that the people of Emohua were very happy and ready to deliver all her candidates because over 100kilometres of roads have been inaugurated and completed in the area by the Governor Nyesom Wike administration.
“Emohua Local Government is one of the LGAs that have benefitted more from this administration.
“Some communities like Akpabu, Itu and Omudioga have never seen a road in their life time.
“In the educational sector, Emohua has benefited also.
“The list includes the Rivers State University, Emohua Campus; the ongoing rebuilding of Government Secondary School, Emohua; as well as appointment of my humble self as the Chief of Staff; Prof. Okogbule Nlerum, as Vice Chancellor at Rivers State University; Prof. Okechukwu Onuchukwu, as Vice Chancellor at Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, and many others.
“Looking at the number of people here, there is no other party that has what it takes to contest with PDP in the Emohua LGA and Rivers State”, he added.
