Nine Ships With Vehicle Containers, Others Expected At Eastern Ports, Today
A total of nine ships laden with vehicle containers, Premium Motor Spirits (PMS), and other cargos are expected to berth at different terminals today at Eastern Ports to discharge cargos.
According to the manifest of ships and cargos as contained in the Weekly Shipping Position Magazine of the Nigeria Ports Authority (NPA), nine ships are expected to arrive three Eastern Ports today.
The ports are Rivers Port Complex, Warri Port and Calabar Port.
The publication said the ships are laden with vehicle containers and general Cargos. It also include Bulk Salt, Bulk Wheat and Gypsum in Bulk, HPFO, and Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), popularly called petrol.
NPA gave the names of the Vessels for Rivers Port Complex as, Owl, Global Harmony and Binniur C respectively, while vessels for Warri Port are RS Pioneer, MT. Thor and Elizabeth G. Spirit.
Ships expected in Calabar Port are Value Tyler Safe Sea Neha ii and Kowe.
The Shipping Agents for the ships are Blue Star and Jfdor for Rivers Port, while Rongsheng Glass Nigeria Limited, West Atlantic Port Services Nig limited and Amco are for Warri Port.
Hulk Blth Shipping, PeeJay Shipping and West Atlantic Port Services Nig Limited are ships for Calabar Port.
The publication added that the arrival of these vessels and cargos will expectedly enhance maritime activities, while also improving trade and commerce in the sub-region.
