Ken Poly Alumni Woo Old Students
The President, Kenule Beeson Saro-Wiwa Alumni Association, Dr Sam Ugo Onyeka, has called on old students of the institution to be part of the association so as to contribute towards giving back to the institution and the society.
Onyeka, who made the call in Port Harcourt while chatting with newsmen after the association’s monthly meeting at Bellezade Sophia Hotel, in Port Harcourt, said that joining an association like this enables those who had benefitted from the institution to have an avenue where they can pull resources together to give back to the society .
The Alumni President, who used the medium to thank the Governor of Rivers State,Chief Nyesom Wike, on the appointment of Dr Ledum Swanu Gwarah, as the Rector of the institution, pledged the readiness of his association in partnering with the management to achieve set goals.
Onyeka, who also announced that the association has two liaison offices at Rumuomasi,an d Bellezade Sophia Hotel, 10b Eastern Bypass Road, all in Port Harcourt, encouraged all those that passed through the Alma mater to try and be part of the association that meets on every last Sunday of the month .
TheAlumni Association’s President also used the medium to appeal to parents and guardians of students of the institution to up the fees of their children and wards which he said has been the major complaint of the management of the school.
