PAP Closes Scholarship Application Portal
The Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) says it has commenced the screening of applicants for its 2021/2022 scholarship programme.
It also said that it has closed the application portal for the 2020/2021 academic session.
The Interim Administrator, PAP, Col. Milland Dixon Dikio (rtd), in a statement he personally signed and made available to The Tide, said the office had commenced the process of screening all successfully submitted applications.
The statement said PAP would announce reopening of the portal through its appropriate channels, adding that successful applicants for the current academic session would be directly contacted.
The statement said, “The PAP wishes to inform delegates, stakeholders and the general public that the application portal for scholarship for the 2020/2021 academic session has since closed.
“The office is currently in the process of screening applications that were successfully submitted. In the event of a need to re-open the scholarship application portal, it will be announced via the appropriate channels.
“Successful candidates who meet the scholarship criteria and pass the screening stage will be contacted directly through the details they provided in their submissions.
“The PAP understands that some of our stakeholders may have encountered some hitches, seeing that this is the first digital platform for the scholarship scheme, we are fine-tuning the system to ensure a fluid system and the satisfaction of all”, the statement added.
