The ad-hoc committee, which is headed by the Deputy Governor, Dr Ipalibo Harry Banigo, has two weeks to submit its report to the State Executive Council.
Addressing journalists after the State Executive Council meeting presided over by Governor Nyesom Wike, last Wednesday, Commissioner for Information and Communications, Barrister Emma Okah, said other members of the committee include: Commissioner for Education, Commissioner for Environment, Commissioner for Budget, Commissioner for Information/Communications and Commissioner for Sports.
The State Executive Council also approved the setting up of a technology hub to bring the state up to speed in the internet age.
According to Okah, the state government will create a Rivers State Jobs (RivJobs) Portal to help create employment opportunities.
For easier tax administration, the State Executive Council also resolved to set up Rivers State Tax Administration Management Information System (RIVTAMIS).
