Erratic Power Supply: IBEDC Assures Customers Of Improvement
The Ibadan Electricity
Distribution Company (IBEDC) has assured residents of Ilorin of efforts by the company to improve on erratic power supply to the town.
The Commercial Business Manager of IBEDC Office in Challenge, Ilorin, Mr Adetunji Adeyeye, told newsmen that the company was working round the clock to ensure steady power supply.
He expressed regrets over recent erratic power supply to the Kwara capital, blaming it on a technical fault that was being addressed.
“If the feeders are overloaded, it means that we need long time solutions.
“Some of our feeders are overloaded and we are working to resolve it. We are bothered about it and we will like to apologise to our customers.
“The recent development is not deliberate and we are working to improve it.
“Sometime, some of these issues escalate to regional office or the head office before they are finally resolved,” he said.
Adeyeye appealed to customers to bear with the company as it was taking steps to improve on the situation.
