Company Donates Food Stuff To Children’s Home
The Nigerian Aviation Handling Company (NAHCO) has donated foodstuffs, beverages and baby items to the Save Our Souls (SOS) Children’s Village at Isolo, Lagos.
The Public Affairs Manager of NAHCO, Mr Sanya Onayoade, made the announcement in a statement on Monday in Ikeja.
He said that the donation was part of the company’s corporate social responsibility, promising that the company would do more in future.
The items donated include bags of rice, garri, cartons of beverages, noodles, vegetable oil, packets of sugar and undisclosed amount of money.
The SOS Director, Mr Aboyeji Buraimoh, commended the company for the donation, pleading with the management of the company to give employment opportunities to qualified children in the village.
The Head of Social Work at the village, Dr Bolanle Nasar, took members of the team round to see the hostel housing over 99 children.
Apart from the SOS Village, NAHCO had also donated to Bi-Courtney Aviation Services Ltd. and the Abuja Children’s Home.
The statement noted that this was the third time within a month that NAHCO would be donating items to various organisations.
