Med-View Airline Records 339,043 Passengers
Med-View Airline said it has transported 339,043 passengers within the first year of its domestic operations.
This is contained in a statement by its Media Consultant, Mr Obuke Oyibotha, which was given to aviation correspondents recently in Lagos.
It said that the airline ferried the passengers on its Lagos-Abuja, Lagos-Port Harcourt, Lagos-Yola and Lagos-Enugu scheduled routes.
“The Airline also completed the transportation of Nigerian pilgrims for the 2013 Hajj in a record time.
“The Airline thus maintains its lead position in hitch-free Hajj operations for the past seven years,” it said.
The statement said that Med-View Airline had celebrated its first anniversary of running full domestic flights, as the airline started domestic operations on November 8, 2012.
It, however, said that the celebration was low-key, with Jumat and Church services held on last Friday and Sunday respectively.
The statement added that the airline also visited a number of charity homes to give succour to motherless children and the aged.
“The celebration will be rounded off with rewards to frequent flyers and travel agents for their robust patronage,’’the statement added.
