Commissioner Sympathises With Sharks Over Player’s Death
The Commissioner for Sports in Rivers State, Hon. Boma Iyaye has expressed shock over the death of former Sharks FC player, Oremi Oruambo.
Iyaya in a release made available to Tidesprots in Port Harcourt, said that the former Sharks FC left fullback player until his sudden demise was full of life and potential.
The commissioner noted that his death is a shock to Rives State sporting family.
He added that Oruambo’s death is also a loss to the nation, saying that late Oremi had played for Super Eagles and other prominent clubs in Nigeria.
The state’s sports boss called on family to be courageous, “as God alays have a purpose for all thing.”
He prayed for God to give his family the fortitude to bear the loss.
