The Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF), has commended the order of President Muhammadu Buhari for a forensic audit of the Niger Delta Development Commission( (NDDC)
The group made its stance public recently in a communique it issued at the end of a retreat it held at Uyo in Akwa Ibom State.

Calling on the need to restructure the nation, the pan Niger Delta body, urged the Federal Government to begin a constructive dialogue towards ensuring that there is process towards achieving an equitable polity.
Extolling the support of two non-governmental organisations operating in the Niger Delta region, Academic Associates PeaceWorks Niger Delta Dialogue and Stakeholder Democracy Network, for facilitating the programme, the body reiterated the steadfast pursuit of shared interests along with promoting understanding and peaceful co-existence amongst the various ethnic nationalities of the region.
