Abe Lied Out Of Desperation -PDP

The Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), Rivers State chapter says it’s no longer moved by the senseless fabrications of Senator Magnus Abe, whose notoriety in fabled-stories is now common knowledge.

The state PDP Chairman, Bro. Felix Obuah stated this in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Jerry Needam in reaction to Abe’s claim of some PDP members defecting to the All Progressives Congress, APC in some communities of Eleme and Khana local Government areas.

Describing Abe’s claim as untrue and baseless, Obuah said this is yet another plot to deceive the unsuspecting members of the public ahead of the re-run elections, having seen that the (APC) has been deserted by all Rivers people.

Wondering why any sane human being would want the present economic hardship and hunger forced on the innocent Nigerian people by the visionless APC-led Federal Government to continue, the state PDP boss said more than before, the support for the PDP has witnessed unprecedented rise due to the purposeful and development driven leadership of Governor NyesomWike.

The state PDP chairman warned the Rivers populace against falling prey to Abe’s antics and many lies, stressing that all PDP members and supporters in BuaZakpon and Akpajo communities in Khana and Eleme and local government areas, respectively, were united and intact as it’s in other areas of the state.

“We therefore urge you to remain steadfast in your support for the PDP which is doing everything humanly possible to see that you do not only survive the harsh economic policies of the APC but that you continue to live a normal life with all the good things that make life worth living.

“This is our promise and there is no going back to it.

“As we file out again in our numbers to vote for all the PDP candidates during the re-run elections on December 10, may we also enjoin you to shine your eyes, vote right and defend your votes, and by God’s grace, we’ll come out tops naturally”, Obuah advised.

HoS Hails Fubara Over Provision of Accommodation for Permanent Secretaries

The Head of Service (HoS) of Rivers State, Dr. Mrs. Inyingi S. I. Brown, has commended Governor Sir Siminalayi Fubara, GSSRS, for approving befitting accommodation for Permanent Secretaries in the state.

According to the Head of Service, Governor Fubara has continued to demonstrate uncommon commitment to the welfare of civil servants in Rivers State, stressing that such gestures underscore his people-oriented leadership style. Speaking on behalf of the Body of Permanent Secretaries, Dr. Brown congratulated Governor Fubara on the occasion of his 51st birthday, describing him as “a Governor who leads by serving.”
