Bizman Makes Case For Oil Sector Dev

Chief Executive Officer of Pet-Darl International Limited, captain Opunabo Briggs says Rivers State deserves a holistic approach to the development of the oil and gas sector in view of its comparative advantage.
Speaking during a courtesy call on him to the steering committee of Kengema Unity Club in his office in Port Harcourt, Captain Briggs said that apart from oil and gas, Rivers State also has durable land for agriculture and fishing.
He said that what is needed is for the state to tap into these to expand its economy, stressing that industries such as those that process cassava and fish products need to be setup at strategic locations in the State to provide employment opportunities for the teeming unemployed youths of the State.
