Amaechi Extols Justice Ndoma – Egba’s Virtues
Rivers State Governor and Chairman of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi has on behalf of the good people of the state, sent condolences to the families of late Justice E. T. Ndoma-Egba in Cross River State.
Speaking at a Night of Tribute, in honour of late Justice E. T. Ndoma-Egba recently in Calabar, Amaechi said, the roles played by the late Jurist and his family to the service of the nation were responsible for the mixed bag of accolades emanating from eminent Nigerians who found time to be part of his burial.
“You have a mixed bag of eminent personalities who have attended the Night of Tributes in honour of late Elder Justice E. T. Ndorna-Egba. When they spoke, people like us who know little or nothing about the late Justice, listened to them with rapt attention. Young men like us did not meet the late retired Justice but for the fact that, we are present to give him the last honour indica es that he had brought up quality children for the Federal Republic of Nigeria”.
“Let me, on behalf of my family and the good people of Rivers State extend our condolences to the families of late Justice E. T. Ndoma-Egba”, Amaechi said.
Governor Amaechi also described late Justice Ndoma-Egba as a honest, impartial capitalist who served the nation’s Judiciary with all sense of commitment and dedication to the service of hurnllitv, societal progress, and left legacies that would impact positively in the promotion of the judicial system in the country.
