Rivers Civil Service Holds Dedication Service, ‘Morrow
A New Year Prayer and Dedication Service for the Rivers State Civil Service (RSCS) holds tomorrow at the Podium Block car park, State Secretariat Complex, Port Harcourt.
A statement signed on behalf of the Head of Service, Mrs Esther Anucha by the Permanent Secretary, Service Welfare, Mr. Lambert Ekwueme said the event, which would begin at 10 o’clock in the morning, would be chaired by the Chairman of the Civil Service Commission, Sir Ngo Martyns Yellowe while the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. George Feyii will be the Guest of Hoonour.
The statement, therefore, advised all Civil Servants to attend en masse as it affords them the opportunity to thank God for a successful service in 2011 and pray for continued peace, wisdom and guidance for the effective implementation of policies and programmes of government.
