Remain Peaceful, Law Abiding – LG Boss
The Chairman of Opobo/Nkoro Local Government Area, Hon. Maclean Uranta, has urged youths in the area to be peaceful and law abiding.
The council chairman, who said this during the inauguration of the local government chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), at Opobo town also expressed happiness at the positive attitude of the youths towards the local government council.
The council boss who was represented by the Secretary, Senibo Emma Oko Jaja, described the election as free and fair and called on them to work together for the common interest of the area.
In his speech, the state Chairman of the NYCN, Comrade Bethel Oko Jaja warned against being hijacked by politicians as the council is not attached to any political parties.
He also warned against the emergence of cabal in the youth council and urged the new chairman to harmonize all interest groups in the youth council,
