2023: ‘Wike’s Performance’ll Speak For PDP’
The leader of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ahaoda West Ward 11, Hon. Dennis Warmann, has expressed optimism that the developmental projects executed by Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State would give PDP landslide victory in the 2023 general elections.
According to him, the party will do less campaign to win the elections next year, because the projects and empowerment programmes embarked upon by Governor Wike will speak for it.
Warmann made the assertion on Wednesday at Akinima Primary School Field in Ahaoda West Local Government Area of the State, during a sensitisation and mobilisation programme on the Permanent Voters Card (PVC ) organised by the Grassroots Development Initiative ( GDI).
He noted that no political party can defeat the PDP in any elections in the State, saying that Ahoada West remains for PDP only.
“Without mincing words, the people of Ahoada West are totally for PDP because they have seen what the party has done, as a result, the party deserves their votes and support. We know what it takes to win election, because we will come out enmass with our PVCs to vote for PDP. We have been benefitting the dividends of democracy since Governor Wike assumed office. Besides, he has tremendously performed excellently, so, we have no option than to reciprocate”, Warmann said.
He used the forum to urge residents in the area to go and register and get their PVCs which is a vital instrument to win election.
“I urge every eligible indigene that has not gotten his or her PVC to go and register because that is the only way we can use it to win,” he stated.
