Boys Brigade Okays Govt’s Investment In Education

geria has commended the Rivers State Government for its investment in the education sector.
The National Vice President of Boys’ Brigade, South East, Hon. Justice Chinyelu Emeka Kalajine Anigbogu stated this while on a tour of facilities at the Model Primary School, Elekahia and the Ambassador Nne Furo Kurubo Model Secondary School, Ebubu, Eleme.
Justice Anigbogu said the Boys’ Brigade is very impressed with the facilities, adding that the world class facilities in those schools complement the vision of the founding fathers of the Boys’ Brigade in youth development in the country.
“We are impressed with what we have seen so far, what have been invested in the training of children and what we have here complements the vision of the founding fathers of the Boy’s Brigade, and I want to commend the Governor, the government and people of Rivers State for this facilities” he said.
Also speaking, the National Vice President, South West of Boys’ Brigade, Prince Adegoke Adeniyi said he was marveled at the facilities on ground at the Model Primary Schools and Secondary Schools.
Prince Adegoke Adeniyi also said they will send a message to their respective state governors so that they will emulate Governor Amaechi in transforming their education sector.
“I am from a state that has been practicing free education since 1955, but I can tell you that we will go home and tell them that what they think they are doing some other person has gone beyond that,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Managing Director of Educomp Solutions West Africa, managers of the Ambassador Nne Furo Kurubo Model Secondary School, Ebubu, Eleme, Shantaram Hedgekatte has commended Governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi for providing world class facilities in the school.
Hedgekatte said that the Indian firm will fulfill the aim of the Rivers State Government which is the provision of sound and qualitative education to students in the school.
He also explained the essence of smart class to the members of Boy’s Brigade stressing that the smart class will speed up learning process among students in the school.
