Sir Toby said “It is my honour to decorate a very distinguished man”, noting that Senator Abe had distinguished himself in many ways.
Responding, Senator Abe commended Rotary International for what it has achieved across the world and lauded the club for finding him worthy to be honoured.
Abe, the Chairman of Senate Committee on Petroleum (Downstream) declared, “we will indeed be honourable in our conduct and in association with this club. We will support the club, not just today, but as long as we are called upon to do so”.
