Report Buses In Poor Condition – LAGBUS Mgt
The Managing Director, LAGBUS Asset Management Limitd., operators of LAGBUS intra-city buses, Mr Babatunde Disu has called on the public to report any of its buses seen in poor condition.
Mr Disu told newsmen in Lagos recently that the step was to ensure better services, and that? the LAGBUS management was working with the state Vehicle Inspection Services (VIS) to ensure that the buses were in good condition.
“We are doing this for people to realise that the VIS are looking at every commercial bus, not just the molues or danfos and regulated vehicles, it is us, and they are starting with LAGBUS.
“It is a full complement of their inspection that we face. I will also want to appeal to Lagosians that if they see any LAGBUS bus that is not in good condition, please take note of the bus code which is always on the buses’’.
Mr Disu also said that such information should be sent through Lagbus.com or 07026LAGBUS for immediate action.
He said that the LAGBUS management was regularly liaising with the franchises on the state of the buses.
Reacting to the alleged recklessness of drivers of the BRT buses, Disu said that bus codes, time of operation of the driver and the designation of the bus should also be forward to the numbers stated above.
According to the?LAGBUS MD, the franchisees operate 297 buses while LAGBUS operates 200 buses daily.
