RSG Holds 2023 Armed Forces Remembrance Day Juma’at, Today
Members of the Central Planning Committee (CPC) for the 2023 Armed Forces Remembrance Day (AFRD) have finalised modalities for a successful AFRD.
The Secretary to the State Government and Chairman of the Committee, Dr. Tammy Danagogo, who disclosed in a statement, in Port Harcourt, urged members to mobilise the Army, Legionnaires and other stakeholders to attend the Juma’at Prayers, scheduled for today at the Rivers State Central Mosque in the Old Port Harcourt Township.
The statement, signed by the Head, Information and Communications, Juliana Masi, said that the Interdenominational Church/Thanksgiving Service would hold on Sunday, at the All Saints Cathedral, Rumuokwurusi in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area.
The statement emphasised the need to carry out the military traditional ceremonies during the grand ceremony to be held on January 15, 2023, as a means of honouring the veterans, those still alive and those gone.
