… Drops Six Players
The Management of Sharks FC, of Port Harcourt, has dropped six players from the team who failed to measure up to standard.
This was disclosed by the media officer of the club, Confidence Idaa while fielding questions from sports journalists, yesterday in Port Harcourt.
According to him, the players were dropped because they were unable to meet up the required standard of the club.
“As part of our preparation for next season, six players of the team have beem dropped during the week.
We are doing everything possible to ensure that the team have only good players that can give us the required result next season (2011/2012)”, Idaa said.
He continued that the club had concluded arrangement to sign quality players to beef-up the team before the commencement of the new season.
Idaa reiterated that the remaining four matches in the 2010/2011 premership league season would be taken seriously.
“The players have expressed their determination to ensure that they win the remaining games” he stated.
