Revenue Boss Assures Of Improved Performance
The Chairman of Revenue Committee, in Oyigbo Local Government Area, of the State, Senibo Chijindu Daniel, has pledged to transform and increase internally generated revenue in the area.
He stated that transformation and reformation of the internally generated revenue would occasion rapid development.
Senibo Daniel made this known to newsmen, during the Child Dedication/ Thanksgiving Service of the Ward 10 councilor in the area, Mr Amaechi Wakanma.
He explained that the current administration led by Mr. Nwaogu Akara, had introduced new revenue approach which was favourable to tax payers.
“As I speak taxation in Oyigbo, has worn a human face based on the current reality in the country. This has endeared him to the people of the area.
“Unlike before where it was done unprofessionally, creating room for linkages and all manner of charlatans impersonating as Council staffers.
“As it is we have enabled to block all those leakages” Senibo Daniel said.
According to him, the LGA Chairman has always justified the revenue generated in the area as it has witnessed unparalleled development.
”Without sentiment the chairman has placed Oyigbo among one of the best LGAs in terms of social and economic growth. Oyigbo has never witnessed a people oriented administration like Hon Akara”.
He assured never to disappoint the chairman and other stakeholders on the trust bestowed on him as revenue Chairman.
