Crown FC Coach Explains Defeat
Niyi Akande, the technical adviser of Crown FC, Ogbomoso has attributed their 4-3 defeat by Sharks FC, in the week 18, Nigeria Premier League, over the weekend, in Port Harcourt was due to lack of concentration and sharp strikers.
According to him, some where along the line, his players were unable to co-ordinate themselves in the pitch and loss concentration.
“The players were disconnected along the line, besides that, we lack sharp strikers to strengthen the attack”, Akande said.
The technical adviser explained that the team that played the game was not his regular team players.
“What mostly affect the team was because our first choice goal keeper is sick, that is why Sharks scored three cheap goals at the expenser of our goalkeeper”, he stated.
Akande expressed confidence that they would win their next match, adding that the most important thing is to go out of relegation zone.
“I am sure that we will not be relegated and we will go out If the zone”.
At the end of the match home boys, Ebitimi Agogo scored the curtain raiser through a spot kick at the 15th minute, while his second goal came at the 85th minute through a defensive blunder.
The third and fourth goals was scored by Belema Fenibo and Fortune Omoniwari, at 35th and 38th minute respectively.
While the visitors scored at the 20th, 68th and 82nd minute by Gabriel Agwu, Tony and Akanbi Tafik.
