NIPR Collaborates With Stakeholders To Reposition Niger Delta
The Nigeria institute of public relations (NIPR) Rivers State has pledged to work with stakeholders to reposition the Niger Delta as an investors haven.
The State chairman of the institute Pastor Paulinus Nsirim who said this at the chapter’s end of year activities in Port Harcourt also said that the institute would embark on capacity building programme for members in the upcoming year.
He said that the aim was to reposition the institute as one of the formost organizations in the Niger Delta.
Nsirim who is the Permanent Secretary Rivers State Ministry of Information Communications said that the institute would strengthen the NIPR student association with the view to making them contribute meaningfully to its development.
Nsirim said that the supports of members to the institute in the outgoing year has helped it to record milestones, stressing that through their effort the professional masterclass was revived.
Also speaking Mr Jossey Nkwocha attributed the success achieved in the outgoing year to the able leadership at the helm of affairs of the institute in the state.
According to him, for the first time, the National Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the institute which held in Port Harcourt had in attendance the state governor
High point of the event was the presentation of awards to members who have put in 20 years meritorious service as members of the institute.
Nsirim promised to make it an annual event by continuously recognizing members who put in 20 years in the service of the institute.
