Commissioner Bags SUG Award Of Honour
The Cross River State Commissioner for Works, Engr Dane Osim-Asu has received an Award of Honour from the Students Union Government (SUG), Cross River University of Technology (CRUTECH), for his numerous contributions to the development of the society.
Speaking while receiving the award, the commissioner appreciated the students for the initiative of finding him worthy of the honour. He urged them to be diligent in their studies and ensure they read wide in order to achieve success.
Engrs Osim -Asu charged the SUG to note that, success does not come overnight, but, through hard work. As undergraduates, they should see themselves as future leaders whom the society is looking up to provide needed solutions to certain challenges related to their field of studies. Speaking further, Engr Osim -Asu maintained that, once the students were outstanding, people will always look out for them, because, the society was looking for people who can offer solution to societal problems.
Presenting the award to the commissioner, the President Students Union Government, CRUTECH, Mr. Osang Francis said the award was in recognition of the Commissioner’s valuable contributions to the development of Nigerian Students and Education at large.
Mr. Osang extolled the wisdom and leadership qualities of the commissioner for works and called on their members and other students to emulate his outstanding performance and become responsible citizens in the society.
