The Rivers State Ministry of Transport has upgraded ACE Center Driving School as one of its driving test centers in the state.
The Team Leader and Managing Director of the ACE Center Driving School, Mr Nduka Ejoh, who disclosed this in a chat with our correspondent in his office in Port Harcourt said the elevation or recognition had given the school authority to train, test and assess or certify drivers before they are issued drivers licenses.
Ejoh noted that as a dependable partner for professional and fleet drivers training, assessment as well as traffic management consultants, they would continue to do what they know best by providing quality driving training to the motoring public for safety on the roads and other road users.
He opined that the ACE will now carry out driving test on behalf of the Ministry of Transport and when they pass the training, they would be eligible to obtain their drivers license, assuring that the centre would carry out detailed drivers assessment.
The Team Leader noted that the Ministry of Transport had done what they were supposed to do as part of their duties is to ensure that motorists are safe and the drivers well trained and certified by a government approved driving school with state-of-the-art facilities assuring, that they would always live up to expectation.
The stakeholder in road transport business who described the development by the ministry as a right step in the right direction also noted that they are carrying out their duty as people charged to ensure competent and qualified drivers are on the road to avoid carnage and other avoidable crashes.
Ejoh said they are proud to be ranked one of the best in the country and to keep up the tempo, they would maintain their mission of being the best to meet international best standard and assured the motoring public of nothing but the best as training of drivers and beginners is a tast that must be taker sensuously.
