Staff Award: RSNC GM Harps On Good Time Management
The General Manager of Rivers State Newspaper Corporation (RSNC), publishers of The Tide Newspaper, Mr Vincent Ake has reiterated the need for good time management among the staff of the organisation, which he said enabled people to achieve set targets.
The General Manager said this in his address during the 2018 First Quarter Best Staff Award at the corporation over the weekend.
Ake who commended the five awardees, said that a good time management leads to discipline and hardwork which have paid off for the awarded staff.
He noted that, “I have seen changes in the corporation and I have also seen those that do not want to change”, adding that the positive changes in the organisation have attracted the interest of the masses toward the newspaper.
Ake, however, expressed worry over workers that use every little excuse to absent themselves from work, noting that hard work would always be rewarded in the establishment every quarter.
Presenting the awardees: Miss Joy Tonye from Admin, Mr Fred Horsfall Adaye (Editorial), Mrs Patience Owiriwa (Business Development), Mr Iminabo Michael (Production) and Mrs Joy Egbua (Finance), the Director Administration, Mrs Emi Jameson commended the best staff of the season for the added efforts put on their duty posts.
Mrs Jameson called on the workers to always engage in the roles that would bring success to the corporation, noting the preparedness of the management to reward hard work done by the staff.
Responding on behalf of the awardees, Mrs Patience Owiriwa applauded the management for appreciating hardwork, which she said would enable them to put more effort in carrying out their duties.
