Company Harps On Digital Printing, Smart Office Technology
The General Manager, Sales and Marketing, Xerox Nigeria Limited, Mr Femi Abidoye, has harped on digital printing technology as well as Smart Office operations in order to adjust properly to the 21st century documentation system.
Abidoye said this during a business exhibition titled, ‘Digital Printing Press, Smart Office Technology Products And Electronic Document Management System, held in Port Harcourt, recently.
He said the company had made the issue of work from home a reality.
According to him, the Covid-19 pandemic has actually challenged the people on the need to consider work from home a better business option, which he said the company was handy to provide solution.
Abidoye further said that his company was in the forefront of campaign against analogue way of doing business, urging Nigerians to embrace digital system.
He said the company has the technology to transform all papers to electronic system for easy work and digitalising work flow.
Abidoye added that easy access to documents by all in the work place is another benefit of electronic documentation system.
He disclosed that the company had put up 48 years in business, with about 38 years in Port Harcourt.
“We have been in business for about 48 years, 38 years in Port Harcourt. We obey Local Content Policy, we have employed over 250 Nigerians without any expatriate”, he said.
In his remarks, the Director of Finance and Accounts, Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Mr Eno Ubi, who chaired the event, described the company as a leading phenomenon in digital transformation and document handling.
Ubi, who spoke via a representative, Mr Dodd Peterside, also noted that the company had reduced superfluous and administrational stress through digital file provision.
