Abia Warriors Get Heat After Defeat – Defender
Abia Warrior’s long serving defender, Austin Obaroakpo, has stated that the Umuahia-based club has started feeling the heat after the club succumbed to her fourth straight defeat of the season in Wednesday’s 1-3 home loss to Jigawa Golden Stars.
Obaroakpo while spea-king in a chat with Tidesports,how-ever, called for calm amongst fans of the club and posited that the season is still early and that there are still good enough number of games to play to turn things around.
He thereafter, added that it is now imperative that the club starts picking results.
“Definitely it’s a very sad experience for us, honestly but I still believe that everything will fall in place, hope is not lost. Of course, we are playing with pressure, we are feeling the heat because we are not happy over what is going on in the team, our result is nothing to write home about.”
