Bizman Lauds NIPOST On Service Delivery
The Nigeria Postal Service (NIPOST) has been commended for improved service delivery system.
The commendation came from a businessman, Mr. Monday Igwe when he spoke with The Tide in Port Harcourt, last Wednesday.
He said that the parcel he sent to the United States of America (USA), was delivered within 14 working says as the officials promised.
Igwe pointed out that the item was sent on May 3, 2017 and was delivered on May 23.
According to him, such services is worth commending unlike in the past when such would have been delivered in more than three months.
The businessman maintained that NIPOST remained the most efficient mail service body in the country, despite its rather outdated mail delivery system.
He said that most countries of the world depend on the postal agencies for all their transactions.
Igwe hinted that he was surprised that even food items could be sent through the post.
To make the place more viable, he called on the Federal Government to employ more people in the area inorder to reduce work load.
He recalled how he was delayed beyond expectation few weeks ago when he visited the agency for transaction due to huge crowd.
