Student Leader Makes Case For Projectors In Law Faculty
The President Law Stu
dents Association of Nigeria (LAWSAN) Rivers State University of Science and Technology (RSUST) chapter, Chioma Martin has said that provision of projectors in all classrooms in the faculty of law would boost learning in the school.
He noted that since the faculty was saddled with e-learning facilities, provision of projectors in the faculty would add beauty to the system.
Martin who spoke in an exclusive chat with The Tide during the week in Port Harcourt, said that need for the tool can not be over emphasised following its role in modern learning.
He also pointed out that some computer related courses will be better understood, it they were projected.
The RSUST LAWSAN leader, maintained that the analogue was gone and should be discouraged in the school system. On his plans concerning the venture, he said there was no clear picture in view yet, but that public spirited individuals could write their names in gold by providing the item.
According to him, everything was not to be left for the government or the school authority alone, adding that the people must learn how to work for posterity’s sake.
Recalling the intervention of Sir Mike Elechi in the provision of a reading/love Garden in the faculty, he said such was a giant leap of an ideal states man.
He has also called on the public, especially those whose children/wards are in the faculty to also endeavour to provide them with lap top computers.
He reasoned that the only way one could be grounded in computer appreciation was regular use of the system, adding that it saves time.
Concerning Moot Court enhancement, he said a public Address System (PAS), would add colour, to the environment, as he also tasked public spirited individuals to invest in the place.
Meanwhile, he has thanked the Dean, Faculty of Law, Pro Nlerum S. Okogbule, for his determination to support the introduction of digital system in the faculty.
