Raheem said in a statement made available to newsmen yesterday in Lagos that the seven companies would be visiting from April 25th to 29th.
It listed companies on the delegation to include Comptel, Exomi, Funzi, JLSoft, Monami Agency, Movial and QPR Software.
According to the statement, more Finnish Telecoms and software experts are looking at the possibility of exploring the existing opportunities in Nigerian markets.
“These companies believe in the Nigerian market, especially in the area of ICT, where Finnish technical know-how and innovative solutions can provide added value.
“Nigeria, being a key driver in international trade and Africa’s largest market, provides these companies more incentives to want to enter her market.
“The Finnish Trade Promotion Office in Lagos, is therefore, bringing to Nigeria a delegation of seven fast growing Finnish ICT companies from April 25th to April 29th,’’ it said.
The statement said that the visiting companies had a long-standing know-how in connectivity platforms, mobile infrastructure, security and authentication, operations management, digital campaigns and learning solutions.
It also expressed optimism that the visit would provide opportunity for the companies to introduce their products and services to local authorities and Nigerians.
According to the statement, Finland has over the years introduced different technologies and digital services, including Nokia, to the world.
