Techno Gives Reason For Quick Market Penetration
The Vice President,
Techno Group, Arif Chowdhury, has said that its phones penetration into the African market was due to the firm’s innovative technology.
He said this while addressing newsmen in Lagos.
Chowdhury, who acknowledged the many huddles the firm overcame before the it’s market penetration, said the friendly nature of their products played a smart role.
He explained that the company’s offerings in mobile voice and data technologies, also extended to smart phones, tablets and others.
Part of the success story he said, was the intergration of a team of French designers who he said were committed to innovation and high functional standard.
The Techno executive, also noted that the French designers have nose for competition, and stylish products fit for the African market.
On the issue of cheap phones, he said that they are good, but warned against the danger of fake products which he said are harmful to human health due to its radiation.
He maintained that he African market treated his company well, hence the need to expand its scope in the continent.
Earlier, he had praised the Standard Organisation of Nigeria (SON) over its recent move against substandard mobile products in the Nigerian market.
