DG Commends NIMC’s Service Delivery
The Director-General of
the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Mr Sola Omole, has commended the National Identity Management System (NIMS) project for its service delivery.
This is contained in a statement issued by the Director of Communications, NIMC Mr Anthony Okwudiafor, in Abuja.
The statement said that Omole gave the commendation while enrolling at the new NIMC enrolment centre at the NTA headquarters in Abuja.
It said Omole also commended the deployment of high tech infrastructure responsible for the fast process of enrolling into the database by the commission.
“I thought it will take one hour to do this, but this has taken a few minutes.
It said the project promoted cohesion and national integration through the unique identity number that enabled the country to fight crimes.
“I hope that every Nigerian will do this and through this, we can begin to promote, as we have been doing, the national cohesion and national integration in our country.
“The project identifies each Nigerian so that we can track good people and bad people for the greater good of all Nigerians,” the statement said.
