The Director of Jide Ofor Communication Company Comrade, Mrs Rita Onuoha, said this in a chat with The Tide Wednesday in her office in Port Harcourt.

She accused Nigerian leaders of preventing the ICT/electronic usage in the country’s electoral system in order to continue benefiting from the manual system.
According to her, the country, should begin now and import valuable ICT materials especially cameras with powerful lenses that could capture objects from a very far distance.
She wondered why the office of Mr President could not have a central camera that can monitor the activities of the 774 local government areas in the country every electioneering period.
On the issue of using ICT gadgets for security, she said that it ICT tools are introduced to some strategic points in the country, that it will go a long way to improve the current security situation in the nation.
