Network Provider To Support Cultural Festival
Mobile Telecommuication Network (MTN) Nigeria, says it is now set to support the 48th Ofala Nnewi festival as part of its community project.
The General Manager, Consumer Marketing, Mr. Kola Oyeyemi, said this recently at Nnewi while briefing newsmen on the development.
Oyeyemi, hinted that the event is slated to hold at the Palace of Igwe of Nnewi Dr. Kenneth Orizu on Thursday and Friday this week.
He stressed that MTN remained firm over its resolve to contribute to the development of indigenous cultures and communal bonds.
The MTN executive said that his company has over the years, spare-headed numerous cultural activities around the country.
According to him, one of the central ideas is to prove its brand promise and to slow the company’s desire to better the lots of Nigerians.
“The company, over the years, has been fronting the promotion of cultural festivals in the country, with a target to prove our worth and enrich the lives of Nigerians”, he said.
He has also promised to upgrade all its facilities in order to serve Nigerian subscribers better.
