Lufthansa, Air France In Rivalry
Following the return of flight operations by Lufthansa airlines last October, there seems to be various competition between the two international flights operating at the Port Harcourt International Airport, Omagwa.
Air France, which has been using its smaller aircraft will commence operations with a jumbo aircraft-boeing 777-300 series today, from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport to Port Harcourt.
The aircraft which has 8 first class, 67 Business 250 economy offers attractive incentives to passengers on flight including 23 kilogram free luggage.
Air France became worried following the increasing passengers Lufthansa was enjoying with its jumbo aircraft and decided to commence operations with similar aircraft.
The airline, sources hinted does not want to miss out in the Christmas rush both in and out of Nigeria.
Air France operates daily in and out of Port Harcourt with its smaller while Lufthansa operates four times weekly in and out of Port Harcourt.
