Amaechi: Group Warns Detractors
All detractors of the Riv
ers State Governor and Chainman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) Rt. Hon. Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi have been advised to give way in order not to incur the wrath of God.
The President of Ikwerre Gospel Ministers Fellowship (IGMF), Apostle Chijioke Yellowe gave the advice during the group’s monthly prayer meeting at Golden City Assembly Monday at Rumuolumeni, in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area.
He said that the governor of the state would complete his second tenure as governor of the state no matter the forces against him.
Yellowe warned those fighting Governor Amaechi to desist forthwith or be prepared to face the music, adding that the governor’s tenure would elapse on May 29, 2015.
The cleric noted that anything short of eight years for the present administration in the state, would not be accepted by both God and IGMF.
He also called on the state governor to be courageous as an Ikwerre son, saying that the group would stand by him at all times.
The IGMF boss, further advised some politicians from Ikwerre ethnic nationality not to work against Amaechi’s government, pointing out it took ikwerre people up to 40 years to produce a governor.
Also speaking, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the group, Dr Paul Wowhor, charged all Ikwerre gospel ministers to be involved in the propagation of the gospel in Ikwerre land.
While calling on IGMF members to be involved in active politics, he enjoined them to begin to mobilize for the 2015 general election so as to realize its dream of deciding who governs the state next dispensation.
