AYC: Obuh Confident Of Beating S’Africa’s Amajita
The Chief Coach of Flying Eagles, John Obuh has expressed
confidence that his team would overcome the Amajita of South Africa on Sunday
in Ilorin, Kwara State in the final qualifying match for the 2013 African Youth
Championship, AYC.
Obuh stated this in an interview with sports writers ahead
the crunchy encounter.
The Flying Eagles had in their first leg forced the Amajita
to a 1-1 draw in Nelspruit, South Africa.
According to him, the team is prepared and determined to
secure victory at home.
“Having played the first leg, the technical crew have
observed our errors and we are prepared for the second leg,” Obuh said.
He continued that he was satisfied with the quality of
players he has in the team and would make the best use of the players
appropriately.
The chief coach said there is room for any player that
satisfies the coaching crew, particularly those that had proved themselves.
There is still chance for any player in Nigeria that
satisfies us, the player is sure to play for the Flying Eagles,” he stated.
Obuh used the opportunity to appeal to the people of Kwara
State turn out enmass to cheer the team to victory.
