Market Indicators Depreciate At Exchange
The market indicators
of traded equities at the end of transactions on the floor of Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) last Monday depreciated to end the week opening trading on a negative note.
Market capitalisation lost N75 billion to close lower at N13.289 trillion as against N13.364 trillion traded by investors on Friday at the Exchange.
All-share index also declined by 280.27 points to close lower at 41,471.28 points, compared to 41,751.55 points that closed last week’s transaction at NSE.
Investors’ 308.713 million shares valued at N4.53 billion exchanged hands in 5,530 deals, losing 154.375 millions shares compared to 463.088 million shares, worth N4.370 billion traded by investors in 5,825 deals on Friday.
The gainers chart was led by Oando after making N1.10k per share to close at N26.70 per share.
Following by Nigerian Breweries which gained N1 per share to close at N166.20 per share.
However, Nestle Plc lost N9.95k to close at N1,155.05, to lead the losers table.
