CBN Sells N166bn Treasury Bills
The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on Thursday sold N166.40 billion worth of treasury bills whose maturity range between three months to 12 months. The bank, in its bi-monthly auction result, said it sold N30.16 billion worth of 91-day treasury bills at yield rate of 11.55 per cent against 12.04 per cent yield rate in December.
It also sold N50.40 billion worth of 182-day treasury bills at 11.6 per cent against the 13.94 per cent yield rate in December. The apex bank issued N85.84 billion worth of 364-day treasury bills at 11.79 per cent against the yield rate of 13.37 per cent in December.
