Etche Students Hail Nwuzi Over Dev Efforts
The National Union of Etche Students, Rivers State, has lauded the Etche Local Governemnt Council Chairman, Hon. Ephraim Nwuzi for his efforts at human resources development.
The President of NUES, Comrade Obilor Obinna, who made the commendation, while speaking with The Tide in Port Harcourt, Friday, noted that the purchase of hundreds of JAMB forms and its distribution to indigent Etche students had marked Hon. Nwuzi out as a man who was committed to the development of the youths.
Comrade Obilor remarked that Hon. Nwuzi had demonstrated a rare quality not common among past leaders of the local council, and urged him to sustain the tempo.
President Obilor noted that the only way, candidates of Joint Admission and Matriculation Board Examination, who got their forms free of charge could appreciate the gesture of Nwuzi’s administration was in passing their examinations.
He warned the youth of Etche ethnic nationality to shun acts capable of tarnishing the good image of the tribe and urged them to take advantage of opportunities provided by Nwuzi’s administration to further their education.
Comrade Obilor used the opportunity to express support for the Hon. Chibuike Amaechi- led administration in the state.
