Wait On God, OPM Leader Advises Childless Couples
The General Overseer of
Omega Power Ministries (OPM), Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere has advised childless couples to wait on God as He is the giver of every good thing.
Addressing thousands of worshippers of the Church who thronged the Port Harcourt International Airport to welcome his wife, Evangelist (Mrs) Nkechi Chinyere who arrived in the country from the United States of America where she gave birth to their first baby after eight years of marriage, Apostle Chinyere said that God does His things at his own time and therefore, people must wait for Him.
The clergyman said that rushing to unlikely places for the sake of having children is a sin against God “and humanity, stressing that the attributes of a good Christian is to wait on God irrespective of circumstances and situation.
He described the birth of his first baby as a miracle, pointing out that when all hope seemed lost, God intervened to shame the critics who believed that his wife had no womb.
Apostle Chinyere said that his happy moment should energise the Church to step up its campaign of dissuading people from going to native doctors in search of solutions for their problems including childlessness.
On her part, Evangelist (Mrs) Nkechi Chinyere described the arrival of her first baby as miraculous.
