RSNC Assures Of Greater Service Delivery
The General Manager of Rivers State Newspaper Corporation, Mr Celestine Ogolo has declared that the newspaper will experience changes in service delivery to the government and people of Rivers State.
The GM made the declaration during the corporation’s New Year redidication service.
Ogolo stressed the need for workers to commence their duties with prayers, adding that only prayers can move the corporation forward.
He was optimistic that many good things will happen in the corporation this year including installation of a new Rotary machine, refurbishment of other machines and staff promotion, and stated that the training programme of the staff of the corporation will commenc soon.
Ogolo, however, warned against indiscipline, absenteesm and lateness to work, which he said is inimical to progress.
He commended the ministers of God from Mountain of Fire and Miracles for identifying with and praying for RSNC, stating that they are part of The Tide’s success story.
The GM also commended the Admin Director, Mr Alfred Nworgu for his 35 year delivery of dedicated and upright service, adding that few days from now Nworgu will retire but the corporation will continue where his best stopped.
In his exhortation, Pastor Lawrence Donatus who urged the staff to hold onto God said that the plan of God concerning the corporation cannot be stopped by anybody.
Pastor Lawrence advised the workers to imbibe team spirit which he said brings progress to any organisation.
In an interview shortly after the programme, the retiring Admin Director, Mr Alfred Nworgu advised the staff to be committed, dedicated and diligent on their duties, adding that God rewards every hardwork done in sincerity.
He noted that his major challenge was sabotage, stressing “I am very proud to say that I kept a clean record all through my service.”
