Mrs Amaechi Thanks Rivers People …For Support, Goodwill
Wife of the Rivers State Governor Dame Judith Amaechi, has attributed the success of her husband, Governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi two years in office to the overwhelming support and understanding of Rivers people.
Mrs. Amaechi who stated this Sunday in a statement signed by her Media Assistant Dike Bekwele expressed appreciation to stakeholders in Rivers State especially women who encouraged their husbands in all ramification to provide strength to the current administration.
The Governor’s wife said that though the administration is just two years in office, the mandate entrusted in them would be protected and realised
“I want to say that two years of governance in Rivers State is quite promising and a pointer to the fact that the mandate entrusted in the team by Rivers people must be achieved and protected.
Mrs; Amaechi expressed optimism that Rivers people will continually make input in the running of the government and will be properly mobilized in the policy formulation and implementation in. accordance with the participatory governance policy of the government.
“My husband and his team believe in two way communication between the government and the governed and that’s why he communicates regularly the policy thrust of his administration, its intention and proposed legislation. I believe that this action will promote good government relations in the days ahead and build a confident and mutually rewarding state
The Rivers First Lady further enjoined the people to redouble the confidence reposed in the current administration, adding that the government will not let the people down.
“I enjoin you to rededicate your commitment and confidence in the Governor Amaechl’s administration because it will not let Rivers people down”.
She further solicited for continued support for government policies and advised rivers families to pray for themselves and the state at all times.
