Dame Amaechi Charges Youths On Talent Development
Wife of Rivers State Governor, Dame Judith Amaechi has tasked talented youths to emulate Mr. Abiye Howells who just won the best male gospel singer award.
Mrs. Amaechi who made the call while presenting awards to winners at the 3rd edition of the Odudu Musical Awards at Hotel Presidential, Port Harcourt noted that identifying one’s God-given talent and developing same would help reduce unemployment among youths.
She congratulated Abiye Howells, who is also caleld Howells G. and urged him to keep up the tempo.
Howells who sings inspirational and motivational songs noted that the award was based on the track “Talose Funmi” (Na God) in his album tagged.“Rub Your Destiny” which was launched recently. He said the music was aimed at inspiring youths toward developing their God-given talents, saying the award is dedicated to God.
The young artist used the occasion to enjoin youths to shun all acts capable of derailing them from their set goals while working hard to meet their targets.
